Interviewee: Stefano Tobias
Question 1: How long have you been at NDNU and how does it feel to be a sophomore in college?
Stefano's Response: Been here for two years. Trying to graduate early.
Question 2: What social justice issue were you apart of? Can you please explain it?
Stefano's Response: Helping homeless people. Wasn't apart of a specific organization, but attended certain events like the Tenderloin and assisted younger children of homeless families in academics like reading, writing, math, etc.
Question 3: Why did you choose this social justice issue?
Stefano's Response: He did it over high school. "It kind of fell into place". There's no obligation. The perception of homelessness is false. "Homelessness can happen to anyone. Even the most educated".
Question 4: How did you feel after you did this?
Stefano's Response: Cliche, but it made him feel good about himself.
Question 5: Finally, what did you learn from it and would you do it again?
Stefano's Response: He learned that homelessness happens to anyone. People shouldn't be scared to lend a helping hand. "I would do it again, if I had more time".
